Summit Snowmobile Tour

The Summit Snowmobile Tour begins at 7,200 feet in beautiful Hope Valley, located just south of Lake Tahoe in Alpine County, California. After a brief orientation, safety talk, and driving instruction, guests will drive their snowmobiles, following an experienced guide through the picturesque landscapes of the Sierra Nevada.

Please check in 90 minutes prior to your scheduled tour time for sign-up, suit-up, and boarding. Complimentary shuttle service is available from select locations in Lake Tahoe.

What's Included

Ski Bibs, Jackets, Snow Boots, Gloves ($12 each, or entire package for $40)

What to Wear

Please dress for winter weather conditions, as temperatures can fluctuate in the mountains.

Travel Information
  • All snowmobile tours leave from our main office via bus to Hope Valley
  • Please arrive 90 minutes prior to departure to allow time for sign-up, suit-up, and boarding.

Snowmobiling Information
  • Tours include transportation, D.O.T.-certified helmet, snowmobile, and guide.
  • Snowmobiling is fun for the entire family. However, the minimum age to ride on a Snowmobile is 5 years old.
  • Sled operators must be at least 16 years of age with proof of age (either driver's license or government issued ID). Those under 18 are required to have written parental (or legal guardian) consent.
  • Double-rider sleds have a 450-lb. weight limit.
  • Riders are required to sign a risk acknowledgment.
Weather
  • Tours may be canceled due to snow, weather, or other conditions. Prices are subject to change based upon time of season.

Full Refund

Reservations cancelled or changed more than 48 hours prior to the scheduled tour time will receive a full refund.

No Refund Within 48 Hours

Reservations cancelled or changed within 48 hours of the scheduled tour time will forfeit the full deposit.
