The Ridge Run is an exciting 2-hour tour across the Carson Valley landscape. This tour will give you a taste of what ATV and Razor riding is all about. Take a step back from civilization and breathe in the sweet sagebrush air as you learn a little history, get some great photos and experience the rush of high desert off-roading! Professional off-road guides will show you the basics of vehicle operation, take you step-by-step through a practice session and then guide you down the trail to explore the limitless possibilities and challenges of the Pine Nut Mountains!

We leave from 1685 Johnson Ln. Minden, NV 89423. Please park in the gravel parking lot

Our ATV tours in the Pine Nut Mountains explore a spectacularly rugged and unforgiving landscape that’s surprisingly close to Lake Tahoe and Reno. We head out into the pinion pine, sagebrush, and juniper country on the east side of the beautiful Carson Valley. You’ll ride desert washes, climb rocky hills, and cruise across sagebrush flats that are home to bands of wild horses.

What to Wear

Must wear closed-toe shoes. Long pants and log sleeve shirts are recommended. Please note, clothing will get dirty.

Additional Information

You must 21 years old to rent and ATV or RZR
You must be 18 years of age with a valid drivers license to operate an RZR
You must be 16 years of age with a valid drivers license to operate an ATV (with parental consent)
Drivers must 25 years of age to drive a with minors passengers (RZR)
Minor passengers must be able to simultaneously grasp the handholds, firmly plant feet on the floor, with back fully against the seat backrest.
Minors must be taller than 48″ to participate in any off road tours

The guides at Lake Tahoe Adventures are experienced at teaching beginning riders. Once out on the trail they continually assess the ability of the group and tailor the tour to deliver the best experience for everyone.
